Along with students, thinkers, activists and leaders interested in global development, it was a significant opportunity for our Trust to network and hear from experts across all aspects International development at the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs (NZIIA) flagship conference, “International Solutions: Aotearoa New Zealand’s Place in a Troubled World.”

Indigenous rights on an international scale were discussed at length and it became apparent that Aotearoa is positioned appropriately to facilitate the courageous debates urgently required as geopolitical, geo-economic and techno-strategic conversations are ever increasing in the Indo-Pacific.

It was an eye-opener to learn more about the ongoing influence of foreign policy in our nation, and we are committed to continue to remain informed on all the ongoing developments.
