We are proud supporters of Aratiatia Marae in Hamilton. This is a significant site of Mana for our trust as Erana Kaunga Tuhura dreamed of this Marae and it only came to fruition through the dedication and support of so many posthumously.
Her legacy remains firmly entrenched in Te Ihorangi wharenui and she remains within the strength of Fairfield college grounds, cherished by Ngaati Wairere.
The honour bestowed on Erana through carvings of the wharenui by Master Carver Kereti Rautangata and the way in which her stories are kept alive, warm and significant ensures that this will always remain an important and significant site for the Trust to ensure it flourishes.
