Joining a global community of like-minded educators was one of the key reasons we asked Education New Zealand | Manapou ki te Ao to support our Trust to go into Indonesia. It was and will be the most profoundly intense and transformative experience of our teaching practice, as we went deep into the learning of a unique model of education centred on educating for sustainability at The Green School in the middle of the Jungle in Bali. Now we are tasked with the really fun part... how to apply and implement learnings across the home, hapū and work spheres in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
